Is it possible to bring everything that lives in the Pacific Ocean into a colossal aquarium to allow everyone to experience marine life up close and personal? The answer is no, but no other attraction in the world gives you a better understanding of what thrives under the surface of the Pacific Ocean than the Aquarium of the Pacific.
About Aquarium of the Pacific
Located on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California, Aquarium of the Pacific is a public access attraction that sits on five acres. More than 1.5 visitors per year witness marine life at a facility staffing 900 people, of which 650 are volunteers. As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Aquarium of the Pacific is part of a tourist destination that includes Shoreline Village and the Long Beach Convention Center. Large breaking waves of the Pacific Ocean inspired the architects who designed the facility.
