A Thrilling Start
Many amusement park rides slowly bring you to a thrilling climatic finale. That is not the case with Jurassic Park: The Ride, which pumps your adrenaline the minute the ride leaves the main station. Starting at Ultrasaur Lagoon, the ride takes park visitors past two Ultrasaurus dining on plants growing in the water. The boat moves quickly behind a waterfall before the ride shoots into Stegosaur Springs, where a panoramic view of life during prehistoric time emerges to captivate the imaginations of everyone. Battles among the dinosaur species distract riders enough to create the perfect moment for unleashing an a parasaurolophus that sprays the boat with water.
The Tension Builds
The ride takes an ominous turn when park visitors come upon a Dilophosaurus eating what little remains of a poncho. An abandon motor boat located nearby lets riders know the dinosaur means business. Jurassic Park Animal Control sent the motorboat that has met an untimely demise. A family Tyrannosauruses jumps out of the water to release deadly venom towards park guests. Sparks and floodlights enhance the surreal effect of the authentic-sounding screeches emitted by the dinosaurs.
Breathtaking Finish to a World Class Ride
Jurassic Park: The Ride reaches its scariest moment when a technician begins the countdown to when the life support systems will cease to function. The boat rises in a small lift that carries you closer to the emergency evacuation drop. Another technician heightens the finale by yelling “If you can hear my voice, get out of there! It’s in the building! The finale of the ride includes a pulsating music composition that adds to the tension. Finally, a Tyrannosaurus comes out of a waterfall and it tries to attack the boat.
